Question: If you’re getting 0-60 in 8.0 in a stock Civic Si then I’d either get my speedo or my stopwatch recalibrated. The best time I’ve heard for a stock Si is about 9.1 (’89) and for the Integra about the same. The CRX Si is about a second quicker. As for the Storm GSi, I’m afraid I don’t understand. The numbers I’ve seen for it are right in the same ballpark.

Answer: I thought that the first Civic Si’s (86-87) did 0-60 in 9.2 and the newer ones (89-90) did a 8.9 second. These are stock times. Let me know if I am wrong.
As for a CRX doing a full second “stock”. NO WAY!!. I hope you mean a tenth of a second.
Jackson Racing CLAIMED to have gotten one to do a 7.12 0-60 with a 120 mph quarter. Remember: Their out to move merchandise!!
