Question: Subject line says it.  I’d like to know from Saturn SC owners how they like their vehicles, what options are recommended, how the car performs, how reliability has been, . . .

I am considering trading my 1987 Toyota Supra for the SC.

Either e-mail or follow-uyp posting would be appreciated.  I will post a summary of responses.  If I wind up getting the SC, I’ll post about it as well.

Answer: So far my experience with my SC has been very good. It has good pick-up, handles very well and gets good gas milage.

The power steering gives a really good feel of the road. The only time I really notice that I have power steering is when I’m parking the car, which is the way it should be. The car corners very well. The manual transission is very smooth.

My milage when new was around 32 mpg in mixed driving. Lately I’ve been getting up to 40 mpg; I don’t know if it’s the warm weather or if the car’s finally broken in (I just passed 15000 miles after nine months).

As for reliabilty, no problems what so ever with the engine. The only glitch I had was on the passenger side power window and the dealer fixed that right up with no hassels.

Plus, I get lots of good comments from random people about the exterior styling. People also just stop me to ask random questions about Saturn. Pretty way cool.
