Question: Just curious what one might be willing to pay for a mint condition 1985 Supra. It was owned by my late grandmother and was literally driven by a little old lady. She bought it for all the wrong reasons. It wasn’t so much the performance as much as she liked the hatchback that made it easier for her to throw in a couple of bags of groceries. She rarely drove at night, in the rain, and never in the snow.
20,000 original miles. Open the hood and it looks showroom new.
My folks have the car now and drive it semi-regularly. I’m simply helping them determine its worth. We live in the Chicagoland area.
I’ll find out additional details as requested.

Without knowing all the details, Blue Book retail (www.kbb.com) is about $4500. Retail is what you’d pay a dealer after he’s checked it all out and cleaned it up and whatnot. A private seller should expect somewhat less…
