Question: Besides, 302 is really 4.95.

I was using the 61 cubes per litre formula. I did lots of rounding I guess. In any event, go put a 4.9 badge on your Fox Mustang and quit crying. If you don’t have a Fox Mustang, what are you crying about anyway?Do you consider the 390hp rating on the new Cobras a lie too? It’s closer to 420hp. Or is that ok because it benefits the consumer? Each of the big three did this in the muscle car era to keep the insurance guys at bay. Head gasket problems on Neons, transmission problems in the Caravan…. general QA deficiencies… I’m surprised the wheels haven’t fallen off yet. Maybe not, but Fieros would just catch fire for no real apparent reason. Does that count? vI’m calling bullshit on this. Tests on the Explorers showed that they are no more prone to rollovers than anything else. Trackers are more prone. I think I can push one of them over, actually. Morons that can’t drive are more prone to rollovers. Also, Explorers outnumbered all of those other models, perhaps even combined. Just like people… if there are 10x the people in one place… you’re bound to find more ugly ones, stupid ones, etc.
Yeah. It’s Ford’s fault that Arizona state troopers are dying because someone ass-ends their stopped car going 70MPH? Sure it is. *Every* make has problems. Yeah, Ford’s had their share. I’m not denying that. And yeah, people have died. If you don’t like it, don’t buy one. Just find something else to bitch about, or somewhere else to bitch about it.
