Question: Yes, it is true. Honda has no chance. Both of the cars listed above run 13 sec 1/4 mile times and handle very well. Nothing Honda offers in the same price range can even come close. It doesn’t matter if it is in the 1/4th mile or on a road race. While the integra and Lude may corner slightly better once they hit the the open road, it is all over. So the point is if you dirve like most people do (not in circles becasue you may get dizzy) the American power houses will spank the competition! If you want good gas mileage go right ahead and buy your silly little hondas, they are good for one thing. Getting groceries. Just remember this saying the next time you pull up to a superior American car. When the green light pops, the bullshit stops!

a fully optioned prelude type sh…before haggling, in houston is around $28,000…the dealer said he coudl work with me on it….
but still a prelude is a totally different type of car than an american muscle car….so therefore no comparison Hondas arent in that price range genious. The current Mustang Cobra goes for around $38K and the top pf the line TransAm Firebird goes for over $40K. The newly redesigned (and butt ugly) 1999 Mustangs are set to come out soon, and the Camaro/Firebird/TransAm line is being considered for discontinuation. Hondas top of the line sports coupe, the Prelude SH can be had with all the options for around $25,000 if its even that expensive, and the Integra is only a little more. HA! How much will it cost? $50K? It will have 305 hp at 9000rpm and have a whopping 130 ft./lbs of torque! But, I just don’t see how anyone can compare a FWD sporty car to a RWD musclecar.
